Derek, Connor, and Jimmy Shines at First BJJ Tournament: November 8, 2025

On November 8, 2025, Team Elements stepped onto the competition mats for another exciting first—our athletes’ first tournament together. Competing with skill, focus, and heart, our team showed just how much preparation and dedication can pay off under pressure.

Derek, Connor, and Jimmy represented Team Elements with courage and determination, each navigating the challenges of their first-ever competitive matches. Guided by Coach Quinn and Coach Mike in their corners, the athletes had expert support and encouragement every step of the way.

Derek had a standout day, earning a bronze medal after putting in an impressive performance against skilled opponents. His composure, technical execution, and strategic thinking helped him secure a podium finish on his tournament debut.

Jimmy and Connor also gave it their all, demonstrating resilience and a competitive spirit that will serve them well in future tournaments. While they didn’t medal this time, their first experience on the mats highlighted their growth and potential as they continue to train and develop.
